Moneris provides Net Deposit payouts to new small business merchants eligible for net settlement in order to simplify the way Moneris deposits are presented on your bank statements and in Merchant Direct reporting. This article will walk you through how to identify your net deposits on your bank statements, and which Merchant Direct reports can be used to support a detailed accounting and reconciliation processes.

Benefits of Net Deposits for your business 

  • The number of line items on your bank statements will be reduced, potentially saving you from bank fees accrued by processing multiple deposits and fees.
  • When you receive your daily deposit, the amount shown in your bank account is the net total — meaning it includes your sales minus any applicable transaction and service fees.
  • The net deposit it’s the final amount you can use. You don’t need to calculate or subtract fees manually.
  • Each deposit is matched to a detailed breakdown of transactions and fees available in your Merchant Direct reporting tools.
